When it comes to bullet journaling, sometimes it can be hard to replicate a design you love when you’re looking at it online. Here, we’ve gotten rid of the guesswork!

It’s easy to see pictures of beautifully made spreads online and feel intimidated – it happens to the best of us! We all want to create a bullet journal that not only helps us feel good, but looks good, too. Rather than trying to blindly replicate a spread, guessing what pens and techniques were used, we compiled a list of helpful resources to boost your skills.

The first recommendation that we have is to trust the process. Sometimes the start of a spread could look nothing like you imagined, but don’t give up! You have to see it through to the end to really know what it looks like, and if it isn’t what you envisioned, there’s always the next spread. Nothing about bullet journaling should be stressful, so just have fun! There’s nothing wrong with trial and error.

The second recommendation that we have is to explore the creators in the bullet journaling community. One of our favorite things about bullet journaling is seeing other journalers create spreads with their own unique styles, and we love getting inspiration and help from them! Down below, we’ve accumulated a list of some of our favorite creators that can help you get started when you’re feeling stuck, or when your creativity just isn’t flowing for the day. You can always lean on your fellow journalers.
