Covid-19 Safety
We live in difficult times right now, with the current state of affairs in the world. Now, more than ever, the health and wellbeing of our customers is our utmost concern. We’re committed to keeping our cafe as clean as possible. While some protocols will be visible for all to see, many will occur away from the public eye. We’ve always strived to be as transparent as possible in every aspect of the running of Cyber Cafe. That’s why we compiled this list, so customers know what we’re doing to ensure both the safety of them and our employees.
Here are the new protocols we’ve put in place:
- Cleaning
- All high-touch surfaces will be disinfected on a regular basis. This includes tables, chairs, door handles, restrooms, front counter, credit card machines, and the kitchen.
- Condiments and Cutlery
- The self-service stations will be removed and replaced with single-use condiments. All cutlery will be wrapped.
- Hygiene
- Hand sanitizer stations will be placed all throughout the restaurant for customers to use.
- Employees must frequently wash their hands and use hand sanitizer, including in between each glove change.
- Menus
- We've gotten rid of our paper menus, and replaced them with a digital menu on our website. However, the menu board is still up behind the front counter.
- PPE
- Customers must wear face coverings at all times, except when sitting at your table. However, facial coverings must be put back on when employees come over to your table.
- Employees must wear gloves and face coverings at all times. Gloves must be changed at lest once an hour, while face coverings must be worn for the entire shift.
- Screening
- Before starting a shift, employees must undergo a health screening. If employees are sick or feeling unwell, they will be sent home for the day.
- Signage
- Signs will be posted all throughout the restaurant to remind everyone of the various protocols in place.
- Social Distancing
- We are doing everything we can to minimize close contact between everyone. Our dining room has been rearranged to ensure that there is enough space between customers.
- Plexiglass partitions have been set up at every table, along with at the front counter.
